Flying the flag for one of Germany’s great family stories — and proud to be part of it.

We’ve been working with Karls Erlebnis-Dörfer, and the more you learn about them, the more you understand why families keep coming back.

It started with strawberries. A small fruit farm near Rostock, founded back in 1921, that grew — slowly, then remarkably — into one of Germany’s most-loved leisure destinations. Today there are seven Erlebnis-Dörfer across the country, the newest opening near Bremerhaven last year, and together they welcomed more than 7.5 million guests in 2024. A record.

What makes it work is the philosophy. Admission is free. Families wander through farm markets, glass manufactories where you can watch jam being made and chocolate being poured, and dozens of attractions built for genuine curiosity rather than spectacle. It’s warm, hands-on and unmistakably theirs.

Which is exactly why our mini safari cars feel at home there.

There’s a moment we never tire of: a child takes the wheel of a Defender, a parent climbs on the back, and off they go. Real steering, real driving, a little independence — and a grin that says everything. Our vehicles are fully licensed Land Rover Defenders, built to be robust, safe and beautiful enough to belong in a place that cares this much about detail.

For a park growing as fast as Karls, an attraction needs to do two things: delight children and earn its place season after season. We’re glad ours does both.

Thank you to the Karls team for the trust — and for building somewhere this special to be part of.

Curious what our fully licensed mini safari fleet could add to your park? Always happy to talk.
